Mitchell is the son of Bruce Wellings and grandson of Wellings & Co. founder, Timothy F Wellings Jr. He graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and is currently working toward his CPA certification. Mitchell has 5+ years working on tax preparation with the firm and brings in skills from past jobs and courses in the areas of customer support, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office programs.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing golf, and cheering on the local Bay Area sports teams such as San Francisco Giants, 49ers, and San Jose Sharks.
