Wellings Wealth Care is a diversified financial services entity, created with affiliates of Wellings & Co., a full service CPA firm and W. Bruce Wellings is a registered representative of Avantax Investment Services through whom securities are offered. W. Bruce Wellings of Wellings Wealth Care is fully licensed as a registered representative, life, health and long term care insurance sales and investment advisor representative. Wellings & Co., CPAs was founded in 1974 and expanded into financial services in 2001 by the creation of Wellings Wealth Care. The partners of Wellings Wealth Care are the same partners of Wellings & Co., CPAs.

Although Wellings & Co., CPAs, had been offering financial planning services with emphasis on the income tax aspects of these services, it was not until 1999 that California enacted legislation allowing CPAs to participate fully in financial advisory services.
