Tim joined the firm in late 2020 bringing with him a diverse background ranging from sales, education and management. He, along with Mitchell Wellings, is proud to be the third generation of Wellings to work at Wellings & Co. Tim entered the tax and accounting industry back in early 2017 because of his desire to serve people and help them navigate the complexities of IRS regulations and accounting standards.

 

As an EA and accountant, Tim offers a wide range of services to individuals and small businesses which include tax prep and planning, IRS representation, accounting, payroll, Quickbooks consulting and training and everything in between. He will not only ensure that the taxes are done correctly and the accounting is accurate, but he also sees himself as a partner with his clients, always seeking ways to improve their tax situation and/or accounting system. Tim is currently working on becoming a CPA so that he can better serve his clients in the future.

Tim is based in beautiful Eastern Washington where he is able to complete work remotely through video calls, phone calls and email. He also makes quarterly trips to the home office in Menlo Park so that he can see his clients in person on a regular basis. He is husband to an amazing woman – Tessa – and the father of seven beautiful and crazy children. He enjoys reading theology, philosophy and history, building things with his hands, and staying active outdoors.
