Formerly a Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. manager and a senior accountant with Touche, Ross and Co., Mr. Wellings has had many years of experience in all aspects of management, finance, business administration, consulting, income tax advice, financial planning, litigation services and public accounting.
Mr. Wellings resigned from Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. on December 31, 1973 to establish his own practice as a local certified public accountant in Menlo Park, California. He is a partner of Wellings & Co. and provides services in all areas of firm expertise, with particular emphasis on complex real estate planning, business goodwill valuations, estate planning and administration, and financial planning. He serves as an expert witness in matters requiring litigation.
Mr. Wellings holds an MBA degree from American University (Washington, D.C.) and a B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is past president of the Peninsula CPA Association, a former director of the Peninsula Chapter of the CA Society of Certified Public Accountants and a former director of the Palo Alto Financial Planning Forum. He also served 17 years as a publicly elected member of the governing board of the Sequoia Union High School District of San Mateo County, California. He enjoys traveling with his wife and frequent visits with his children and grandchildren.

Bruce joined the firm in 1990 after working 12 years in the banking business as a lending officer and branch manager. As a CPA and Financial Advisor, Bruce provides a wide range of services to both business clients and non-business clients which includes tax, accounting, payroll, Quickbooks Consulting, management services and financial services. His many individual, partnership and corporate clients have found his overall accounting and tax experience to be invaluable in preventing and solving their accounting and tax needs. Bruce's Financial Service clients include a wide range of business, individuals and professionals for whom he offers retirement planning, investment planning, life insurance planning and estate planning. Bruce graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington (GO ZAGS!). He is an active member of the Peninsula Business Network and the Kiwanis Club of Menlo Park. Bruce enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing with clients and good old American past time cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Giants.

Victoria Makovich

Victoria has lived in the Bay Area since 1992 when she moved here from Latvia by the Baltic Sea. She joined our team over 10 years ago as Wealth Management Assistant when we extended our services to the financial service industry. Victoria quickly obtained knowledge and expertise in bookkeeping, accounting, Quickbooks and the financial services industry which she helps our clients with. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and playing board games with friends and putting puzzles together when her two cats allow her to.

Christina Luce
Office Assistant

Christina joined our team in January 2010 after moving from the warm Sacramento area. Christina is married and loves to spend time with her family, meeting new people and smothering her little girl (kitty cat) with hugs and kisses every chance she gets. She is the first smiling face you will see as you walk into our firm. She is a devoted team member and tries very hard to accommodate our clients in any way she can. She has been a great addition to our team!

Loreen Chang
Tax Preparer, Accountant

Loreen has returned to us after taking time off to raise her son for few years. During that time she has received her CPA license and has lived in Wisconsin for six months, but after experiencing the worst winter on record there, she has come back to sunny California vowing to never leave again.
Loreen will provide a range of services from tax, accounting and payroll. Loreen holds a BA in Accounting from San Francisco State University. |
